Pop Music - Music Pedagogy

The Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy is designed to train future music teachers to work in music schools, conservatoires, music colleges and secondary schools. This programme, which is an essential addition to the professional portfolios of musicians, combines artistic practice with teaching skills.

The curriculum emphasises the main discipline (performance or composition) while maintaining ensemble activities. Students receive in-depth training in general pedagogy and didactics, as well as undertaking practical teaching placements.

The two years of study culminate in a Master's project structured around three areas: artistic (concert mediation), pedagogical, and reflective (professional dissertation).

The programme prepares students to convey their passion for music with rigour and creativity.
