CLASSICAL MUSIC
SPECIALISED MUSIC PERFORMANCE : SOLOIST
Master
The Master of Arts in Specialised Music Performance, Soloist orientation – Classical Music is aimed at a select group of students with exceptional talent, who are chosen through a rigorous admissions process. This programme aims to train high-level artists with outstanding technical instrumental or vocal skills.
The curriculum focuses on the main discipline (instrumental or vocal performance), while also developing ensemble playing in orchestras or chamber ensembles, with the opportunity to take on leadership or coaching roles. Theoretical and practical reflection conducted during seminars completes this training.
The two years of study culminate in the recording of a CD, including designing the programme and writing the booklet. The Master's project is structured around three areas: artistic production (two public recitals and a performance with an orchestra), ensemble practice, and reflective practice.
This programme prepares students for an excellent career as soloists or leaders in their field.
